About the Decarb Forum for Mining & Resources

Australia’s mining and resources sector is a cornerstone of the national economy - and also one of the hardest to decarbonise. With global demand rising for low-carbon minerals and metals, the industry faces increasing scrutiny and opportunity in its race to net zero.
The Decarb Forum for Mining & Resources offers a unique opportunity for solution providers to connect with leaders from across the mining value chain — including resources companies, mineral producers, government, and Indigenous partners, who are actively seeking solutions for the sector’s biggest decarbonisation barriers.
These include: reducing Scope 1 and 2 emissions across operations, decarbonising processing and transport, enabling clean energy supply, and addressing expectations around Scope 3 emissions and nature impacts.
The forum is focused on solutions. Each session explores real-world challenges faced by mining and resource operators as they work to decarbonise. Expert-led roundtable discussions allow participants to collaborate on barriers and propose actions that government, business and communities can take to scale solutions.
Partners will gain insights into industry needs, align offerings with key pain points, and engage directly with decision-makers shaping Australia’s net zero mining future.
