About IX Summit Sydney

The pace at which we’re tackling climate change is far too slow, and the urgency is undeniable. Record-breaking heatwaves across the world and extreme weather events are giving us a preview of the challenges we face in a world warming beyond 1.5°C. To make real progress, we need a profound shift in both our mindset and strategies. We need to aim far beyond net zero emissions and dramatically accelerate action towards reversing the impacts of climate change.
The 4th annual Impact X Summit Sydney will address the possibilities, and barriers, for achieving a climate positive future. A flagship event of Climate Action Week Sydney at the iconic Sydney Town Hall, IX Summit Sydney 2025 will bring together some of the greatest climate visionaries and leaders from across Australia and the world.
There will be debate, discussion and lots of big ideas to deliver an even greater acceleration of investment and collaboration across sectors, borders and all levels of society. A shift in how businesses, organisations and individuals work to together, to restore our planet for generations to come.
Speakers will share innovations to remove more greenhouse gases from the atmosphere than those emitted, and present pathways to ensure the rapid restoration and regeneration of ecosystems.
Impact X 2025 will be held in anticipation of a COP 31 that delivers the long-lasting benefits that Australia, the Pacific and the world all need. Join us and share your big ideas for a climate positive future.
Australia’s annual Summit for a net zero, nature positive future.
