About the IX Summit for the Net Zero Economy

Australia stands at an economic inflection point where decarbonising value chains creates measurable competitive advantage in global markets. As carbon accountability becomes central to international trade and investment decisions, Australian companies and industries that lead in value chain decarbonisation secure first-mover advantages, enhanced market access, and operational cost reductions that drive sustainable growth.
For many sectors, scope three emissions represent more than 80% of total emissions, creating both the greatest challenge and the most significant opportunity for meaningful climate impact. Addressing this requires innovation and collaboration across entire value chains, driving transformation that extends far beyond individual companies to reshape industries at the national level.
The Impact X Summit for the Net Zero Economy provides a strategic platform for companies to discover how decarbonising their supply chains delivers tangible business benefits while contributing to Australia's emergence as a global net zero leader. Timed strategically for early December 2025, immediately following COP 30 and Australia's anticipated COP 31 hosting announcement, the Summit will demonstrate how climate action translates directly into competitive advantage for Australian businesses and the broader economy.
Bringing together national economic strategy with practical company-level implementation, the Summit will address how businesses can build competitive advantage through value chain decarbonisation. Sessions focus on actionable approaches for scope three emissions reduction, building clean industrial capabilities, empowering SME decarbonisation, and leveraging Australia's renewable energy abundance and critical minerals expertise to create market differentiation and operational efficiency.
Join us in Sydney for a day of strategic, technical and collaborative work to drive industrial decarbonisation and help shape Australia's transformation into a leading global net zero economy and partner to the region.
