Kerryn Coker

Former Co-Chair, Arup Australasia

Kerryn Coker was co-CEO of Arup Australasia from 2021 to 2025, overseeing 3,500 engineers and technical specialists across Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Indonesia, and Malaysia. Responsible for strategy implementation and business performance, she led through significant growth and diversification while fostering a culture of excellence and inclusion. Kerryn implemented the firm’s global sustainable development strategy based on the UN Sustainable Development Goals, positioning Arup as a leader in sustainability recognised on the Australian Financial Review (AFR) Sustainability Leaders List.

A strong advocate for diversity, particularly female representation in STEM and senior leadership, she improved female representation at Arup and influenced industry-wide change as a member and chair of Consult Australia’s Champions of Change. Her unique approach to shared leadership earned her the inaugural AFR Women in Leadership award in 2024. As a Civil Engineer with a background in façade engineering and multidisciplinary project leadership, Kerryn has successfully transitioned into operations and senior business leadership.
