Cathryn is an equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI) leader, lawyer and qualified director with nearly two decades of experience working with organisations and industries across ESG and regulatory arenas and advancing diversity, equity, inclusion and social justice. She is passionate about the ‘people’ element of sustainability, and the importance of human-centred and inclusive leadership.
Cathryn’s background includes working in the construction and built environment sector, within accountability bodies, leading professional and industry membership associations, working with underrepresented groups, and advising and representing organisations across commercial, ESG and equal opportunity law, compliance and strategy as an in-house legal counsel and former court advocate.
Drawing from her experience both in Australia and overseas, Cathryn brings a global perspective to organisational equity and inclusion, working collaboratively with businesses, governments and the NFP sector to shift stubborn attitudes, address underrepresentation and attract, develop and promote talent. She strongly believes in the potential for driving sector-wide behavioural and cultural change to positively impact outcomes across all areas of the built environment sector and the communities it serves.
Cathryn brings tertiary qualifications in construction, law, public policy, international relations, foreign language and governance.
