Leadership Programs Director, Women’s Environmental Leadership Australia (WELA)
A purpose-driven Leadership Consultant, Learning Designer, and Facilitator, Carli brings over 25 years of experience delivering transformational programs at the intersection of climate, gender, and systems change. As Leadership Programs Director at Women’s Environmental Leadership Australia (WELA), she leads the design and delivery of ecofeminist leadership programs that empower women and gender-diverse changemakers to lead with courage, creativity, and care for people, communities, and Country.
Her work is grounded in a commitment to inner transformation and systemic impact, blending women-centred coaching, strategic program design, and transformative facilitation to help individuals and movements navigate complexity and co-create a liveable future.
Her career spans roles with national and global organisations, including leading WWF-Australia’s Innovate to Regenerate, founding the ABC’s Emerging Leaders Program, working as a Design Thinker at Google Asia-Pacific, and serving as UTS Business School’s first Fempreneur in Residence. She believes diverse leadership transforms systems - and that the future depends on those who listen deeply, act boldly, and centre care and joy in all they do.
